Kaiapoi Museum is administrated by the Kaiapoi District Historical Society Inc.<\/p>\n

It is housed in the Ruataniwha Kaiapoi Civic Centre. <\/span>Kaiapoi Museum was previously housed in the old Kaiapoi Court House, which was demolished after the 4th September 2010 earthquake and reopened in the Ruataniwha Civic Centre on the 5th September 2015.<\/p>\n

Our collection relates to Kaiapoi Town and the surrounding districts.<\/p>\n

Our mission statement is: \u00a0to gather and preserve\u00a0historical material, to inform and educate the public about the district heritage and manage a museum.<\/p>\n
